Continuing Professional Development

All vets within the practice carry out a minimum of thirty-five hours of continuing professional development (CPD) every year as demanded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and will usually have carried far more than this minimum requirement. In this way the practice stays up-to-date with the latest information and ideas about treating and caring for the wide-range of animals owned by our clientele.

Recent courses attended by members of the practice include:

  • Eye diseases

  • Rabbit medicine

  • Heart disease in cats

  • Heart medication and heart disease in dogs

  • Hip dysplasia in dogs

  • Skin diseases in dogs and cats

  • Orthopaedic injuries to the knee of dogs

  • Animal welfare

  • Skin diseases of the horse limbs
