Welcome to the Banovallum Veterinary Group Website. The main surgery is situated on Prospect Street in Horncastle, on the edge of the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds. About UsThe practice is a five-person mixed practice dealing with domestic pets, farm animals and horses. In addition we have our own associated laboratory – Horncastle Laboratories – with three vets, two being full- time and one part-time. We offer a twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year caring and comprehensive service to all our clients and their animals. The professional emergency service that we provide is local - we do not believe that sending your ill or injured pet on a prolonged trip to an emergency clinic to an unfamiliar practice elsewhere in the county is in the best interests of your pet. A Brief Practice History... Until 1972, Horncastle had two separate practices that merged to form the Banovallum Veterinary Group. Mr Colebrooke and Mr Harding left their practice premises on North Street and moved into Prospect Street to join Mr Carmichael, Mr Coulthard, and Mr Poole, so forming The Banovallum Veterinary Group in 1972. The current building is an expansion of that original practice and was carried out in the spring and summer of 1988.
