Farm LivestockThe Banovallum Veterinary Group has been one of the practices contributing to the National Animal Disease Information Service surveillance system. SheepThe practice offers a full range of services for sheep farmers: emergency work, flock health planning, worming advice including SCOPS (to avoid resistance), breeding plans (e.g. using teasers), and footrot control. Mr Earl has been involved in the creation of computerised Flock Health Planning software, and subsequently teaching vets how to set up Flock Health Plans. He is also a former President of the Sheep Veterinary Society (a sub-division of the British Veterinary Association for vets and non-vets with a particular interest in sheep) and is the Sheep Veterinary Society representative on the Welfare of Sheep during Transport. |
